The Taglet is a system that with one swipe of your cell phone you can transfer information onto the person next to you. This Taglet also allows data to be sent to your phone simply by waiving your phone infront of the object information is required from.

This technology has been commonplace in Japan for many years. I have been waiting for the United States to catch up. I have read the lag is based on the fact that all other counties have one or the other type of cell phone. In the US we have both. All the US carriers, such as AT&T and Verizon only have technology that works with their type of cell phone.
