This is so interesting. Especially if they have your personal image already loaded into their system. You could actually see what the new apparel and designs would like without actually having to go to the dressing room to try anything on.
I would love to go shopping like this. However, I have an issue with possible privacy infringement especially if we go with eye recognition. Still it's a fascinating way to go shopping. Just love it.
That is a great idea! I hate shopping and this looks like it can save you a lot of time. I wonder if the garments will really look the same way when you wear them as when you 'tried' them on. Would you need to alter the outfit in anyway to get it to look like it did on the screen? This would really be helpful for people with physical disabilities who may have trouble getting to the store and trying the clothing on.
I think this is so cool! This will cut all the hassel of trying on clothes. Thats the one thing I hate about shopping is trying on all the clothes and waiting in line to pay for them. I would go shopping alot if it was like this!
I love Cisco, they’re out there making it happen. I don’t try on dresses, but this could be useful in so many useful ways besides shopping. It still blows my mind that we will be able to do things like this. I’m sure it’s only a prototype that they have out right now, and this was just video edited, but they are putting themselves on the map for saying their technology is headed in this direction. You don’t even need a changing room and all the in and out crap just to see what you like. This would make shopping so much easier because I hate going into the changing room. I bet if you didn’t know what size you were that this program could also size you up as well. Nifty stuff!
Sisters In Arms and Beth, this is an absolutely cool video showing what buying clothes in the future will be like. This is great! We will not even have to take off the clothes we are wearing to see what the new outfit will look like. I want to go to the store that has this type of magic mirror in it. I am really excited about this futuristic item. I usually hate shopping for clothes because I hate trying them on. With this exciting item I will no longer have to try on the clothes and I will be able to see how they look and if I like the item or not. This was a great post. this is something that will cut out of a lot of time wasted looking for the right outfit. also a image of yourself with the outfit on already will just amaze me every time. i would have fun shopping this way but could see some problems with it. having you photo on something might have privacy problem, but a deleting program might be put into this new dressing room of the future.
I look forward to future shopping because I hate to try on clothes. This new technology will make my life easier. Also you can decide what color suits you best in a certain color. With all the new technology in development people are going to want to shop even more.
