Many years ago, people used to buy DVDs or went to a cinema in order to watch a desired movie. With time this trend has changed. Due to scientific discoveries and technological evolutions, Redbox was able to introduce a new way of commerce. It established rental-kiosks in popular locations such as fast food restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies and allowed people to rent a disc for one dollar a day. Redbox vending machines have become widespread across the USA and are still very popular nowadays. Because of the low cost, Redbox has made movies became available to more people. Thus, this helps to increase people’s knowledge about the film industry and to widen their outlooks by watching different films. I love RedBox. I used to go to Blockbuster and rent DVDs, but the 99 cent price from RedBox is much better than the 5 dollars Blockbuster still charges. Creative businesses like RedBox and Netflix have changed the face of business. Blockbuster has been slow to respond and looks like they will be out of business soon. RedBox is also in more convenient places such as Walmart or the Super market. The small profile of these machines make then cheap and easy to deploy in multiple locations, without the cost of a brick and mortar location and employees.
This is the reason why Blockbuster is closing down. RedBox is yet another way McDonalds is making money. It's useful and convenient.
I have used redbox and its really easy and a great way to create a date night with spending night. Blockbuster never got the memo and thats why they are all closing in the area and focusing their business online. But redbook is good and they havea good selection. ALL HAIL REDBOX
Redbox is very convenient for renting new released movies. I remember going to blockbuster and new release movies would be 5 dollars for 2 nights. Redbox really helps people save money is this harsh economy. I have a feeling that video stores are not going to be around too much longer because of redbox.
I havent been to a Blockbuster since the RedBox came out.
It has a large collection of movies for only a $1 which is Amazing and also so convienent!! Blockbuster is rapidly going out of business and is currently closing.
The last time I rented a video was years ago, and the reason I stopped renting videos because Blockbuster prices were ridiculous. For a dollar a video I shold definately give RedBox a chance. I wonder if they hve the movie Social Network?
