There are many site that allow you to exchange goods or even services with another person or business. Some that I found were www.barterexchange.com, www.theinternetbarterexchange.com, and www.worldbarterexchange.com. On these sites you have to set up an account to use it and some of them charge fees for each barter exchange or a monthly fee for membership. It is advertised as a great way to expand a small business. This is a great social networking tool that can bring people together to help each other.

I find this very interesting since people used to barter in person, but people are more and more bartering through websites such as the one mentioned in this post. I would hate to have to pay for this service though. I would rather use ebay.
The internet is a big key for business and communication and those sites are great for people to exchange ideas and goods to each other. It makes things happen more quickly and often because it is world wide and anyone can help out.
