Flea Markets

Fleamarkets today are worldwide business's that have been around for over 100 years. With as many as 5,000 nationwide they continue to grow making over one million dollars in revenue.

Fleamarkets got their name from the well-known insect because for the most part, the poor were most commonly found at these events. Transactions such as trading goods for goods and/or buying goods gives the Fleamarket its honorable reconigition in the industry of trading. If anyone is looking into purchasing or trading off inexpensive items, you mostly will find it at a Fleamarket.

I love going to Columbus fleamarket. They have everything there. From food to furniture. You can always find a good price on something. The food is great too!

I think everyone loves a good flea market! You can always find something of interest, or just laugh at what you can find (think old games, something from part of your childhood, or just something unique to this area.

I find that the larger flea markets typically have local produce and eggs as an added option. This is an added benefit to the local society to help sustain their living.

Columbus Flea market in New Jersey is a good place that offers both used items and new items, and locally growth produce.
Great post!

I will agree that the colubus market is a great place do go to. THe food is a bit scary coming out of a trailer though.

A flea market is a great source of trade, for monetary and even a literal trade. Theis is a present day venue for old time currency. you can often barter for something at a flea market and/ or yard sale.

they are alos great fundreaisor's at churches. I have always had a special place in my heart for a nice bake Sale.

Markets are a great idea for everyone! You can go there and look for whatever you want and it will most likely be there. You can get great deals and prices on items of anything. I had a feeling that markets have been around for awhile. It is a trend that is here to stay.

Flea Markets are great places to go when you want to buy something real cheap. My family and I just took a trip to Columbus last week and it was great walking around looking at things people were trying to sell. I haven't been to Columbus in year's, but the saying is true. "One person's trash is another person's treasure."

i think flea markets are a great way to get good to people who will appreciated them. its also a good way to get a new product you might have invented, like food and toy wise. its a cheap way to find good and also a easy way to sell things that are not need any more. plus its never to hard to find one happening around in the area as well.

I know flea markets got their name from fleas, but I still love going to them. Once the weather is warm I love going all over Eastern PA and Southern NJ and finding great flea market experiences. You never know what you may find, but no matter if it a priceless souvenir or a worthless trinket, the charm of a flea market is like no other experience. I remember my time working at a small fruit stand at a flea market. I was young and it was a great way to spend some time on the weekends experiencing the food, the flavor, and the experiences of the flea market.

I really enjoy to go to Fleamarket because you can buy some dirt cheap things and some times you can buy things you can not buy from mall. but I do not dare buy food from there.

There are a lot of great buys to be found at a fleamarket. You really have to check out the product before purchasing it to determine if it is worth the money. Fleamarkets and yard sales are a good way to buy things for the home that you don't want to spend a lot of money on. Plus it gets you outdoors and you get to meet some interesting people.
